There is an A2466x6 CSP with AX2412x6 Height Extenders in the front, and (3) S2466x2 SORBER baffles in the rear. The acrylic panels are a total of 6.5-feet tall, and the S2466x2 baffles are 5.5-feet tall, so there is a foot of open space around the rear of the booth and a six-inch clip-on fan to help with air exchange.
Sound source isolation during concerts or in the studio environment is a constant issue that needs to be address in the face of multiple microphone set-ups.
ClearSonic Panels (CSP) facilitate acoustic separation between instruments on stage or in the studio, helping reduce drum bleed into vocal or instrument microphones, and in the concert stage situation, allowing for a lower stage volume so that the performers can hear themselves better.
The IsoPac B is most probably more suited to the studio environment, particularly as a drum isolation booth, but could also be used in certain live situations. It consists of a six-section clear acrylic panel system (A5-6,) six 12" height extender panels (AX12,) sufficient dark grey SORBER absorption panels to cover the lower parts of four panels of the clear panel system (leaving the front two panels open,) and to also form a "rear wall." A lid system and fan complete the kit.
The IsoPac B is easy to get in and out of. Since SORBER panels don't actually connect to the ClearSonic Panels, one can simply use an outside section of a SORBER system as a "door."
All SORBER products have a Class-A fire rating.
